Elected Official Monthly Parking
Elected State Official Parking Policy
For Legislators and their spouses to receive complimentary parking at AUS:
Legislators: To utilize complimentary parking at AUS, legislators are advised to register their state official (SO) license plate and state official identification with SP Plus, the airport parking administrator. You may register your SO license plate and state official ID by completing the form above . You will then be contacted by email to complete the process. Once registered, each time you enter or exit the parking garage facility, your plate will be read and the security arm should raise automatically, allowing for a fast and contactless transaction.
If you are traveling in a vehicle without an SO license plate, or in the event the license plate reader is not functioning as intended, you may contact a parking supervisor by pressing the “assistance” button on the kiosk. For verification purposes, the supervisor may request your SO license plate number or ID number. This process may take a few minutes, so as an alternative, you may also pull a parking ticket and, upon exit, pay the normal parking fee which is subject to reimbursement. You may submit a reimbursement by emailing info@abiaparking.com or contacting (512) 530-3300 within five business days with your receipt.
Spouses: For your spouse to receive complimentary parking at AUS, please complete the form above . Staff will collect the information then contact you to complete the process and provide a parking access card. If the parking access card is not present when exiting, the normal parking fee may be collected but can be reimbursed by emailing info@abiaparking.com or contacting (512) 530-3300 within five business days with your receipt.
*Please be advised that the City periodically audits courtesy parking services for internal control purposes and your office or your spouse may be contacted to verify your use of the service.
